Browser Requirements

To access the CareerLocker Website, your computer must be equipped with a browser capable of rendering HTML 4.01 and with JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets, and Active Scripting or Cookies enabled. The following browsers are known to be compatible:

Windows browsers:

• Chrome 1.0 or higher

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher

• Mozilla FireFox 1.5.0 or higher

• Safari 1.1 or higher

Macintosh browsers:

• Safari 1.1 or higher

• Mozilla FireFox 1.5.0 or higher

Warning: Using older browsers or disabling browser options, such as Javascript or Cascading Style Sheets may reduce some of the site features or cause screens to display improperly. If you have Active Scripting (called Cookies in Chrome and FireFox) disabled the CareerLocker Website will not function.

How do I determine which browser and version I am using?

Windows: From your browser, go to the Help menu and choose "About...." A window will appear showing which browser and version you are using.

Macintosh: From your browser, go to the Apple menu. Choose either "About Safari" or "About FireFox." A window will appear showing which version you are using.

How do I upgrade my browser?

Internet Explorer: Go to Microsoft Internet Explorer Download. Instructions provided there will help you with download and installation.

Chrome: Go to Chrome Download. Instructions provided there will help you with download and installation.

FireFox: Go to FireFox Download. Instructions provided there will help you with download and installation.
