Mission Statement
To collaboratively produce new knowledge and effective practices for strengthening learning and career development in and across education, workplace, family and community settings for Wisconsin and the world.
To accomplish our mission, the Career Development Unit (Wisconsin Careers) of The Center on Education and Work, under the guidance of its Policy Council, provides high quality career development resources and services in a variety of media and formats accommodating the breadth of user needs.
The Center on Education and Work is a research, technical assistance, and resource provider within the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin. Established in 1964, the Center has a rich tradition of assisting educators and career development practitioners with program evaluation, qualitative and quantitative research, professional development training, and career resources.
