Wisconsin Careers Policy Council

The Council shall recommend policies and provide overall guidance for Wisconsin Careers. The specific goals of the Council include: (1) foster the development and utilization of occupational, educational, and other career planning information, (2) encourage access to this information so as to provide a meaningful experience to students and adults in Wisconsin, thereby influencing positively the process by which people of the state choose jobs and careers; and (3) promote integration of such information into ongoing school and agency guidance and instructional programs. The Policy Advisory Council is to accomplish this purpose by providing advice and counsel to the Director of the Center on Education and Work, School of Education, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and to the Director of Wisconsin Careers.
